Jeffrey Tambor will be featured in the upcoming fifth season of Arrested Development, despite leaving Amazon's Transparent amid sexual harassment allegations, Netflix has confirmed.
The actor will be reprising his role as George Bluth Sr. when Arrested Development returns to Netflix sometime this year. Series creator Mitch Hurwitz said on Tuesday that Season 5 was coming "real soon."
Arrested Development Season 5 wrapped up production in November, close to when Tambor was accused of sexual harassment by his former personal assistant Van Barnes and then later by Transparent guest star Trace Lysette.
Amazon confirmed in February that Tambor wouldn't reappear on Transparent .
Tambor has denied the allegations. "Given the politicized atmosphere that seems to have afflicted our set, I don't see how I can return to Transparent," he said in November.
