Bella Hadid says she's too "scared" to have plastic surgery.
The 21-year-old model denied having lip fillers or other procedures in the July issue of InStyle magazine.
"People think I got all this surgery or did this or that. And you know what? We can do a scan of my face, darling. I'm scared of putting fillers into my lips," she told the magazine. "I wouldn't want to mess up my face."
The Victoria's Secret model said she's learned to ignore rumors and critics on social media.
"It's taken me a long time to learn not to listen," she said. "Why would I read those comments? They are usually coming more for my character than for my face, which is more hurtful."
Hadid had slammed an Instagram user in April who accused her having plastic surgery and suggested she needs a "better" personality. The person also criticized Hadid's friend and fellow model Kendall Jenner.
"At the end of the day I don't want to be mean, and I don't want to clap back," Hadid subsequently told People.
"We're all just human beings and it wasn't even about what they said about our faces, it was just that -- don't attack my personality because you don't know me. That's what deeply hurts me," she explained.
