“America’s Got Talent” Season 13 will air its second Judge Cuts episode this week.
In the leaked footage, magician Shin Lim wows all five judges with his impressive card trick. Prior to his performance, Lim asks guest judge Olivia Munn to join him on stage. Immediately after, he brings out his cards and starts showing off his skills.
Judges Munn, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel are all impressed with how fast Shin is able to change the cards in his hand and on the table. By the looks of it, the magician has a chance to advance to the live show.
[post_ads]Every week for the next four weeks, 18 contestants will perform in front of the four judges and the guest judge. One of them will automatically head to the live show if they are chosen as the guest judge’s golden buzzer recipient. Six other contestants will be chosen by the resident judges to advance to the live show.
Just like every other season of “America’s Got Talent,” one contestant that was eliminated during the Judge Cuts round will have the chance to return to the competition as a wild card contestant. However, this will only be revealed during the live show.
Last week, guest judge Ken Jeong chose the Voices of Hope choir as his golden buzzer recipient. The group sang a beautiful rendition of “Moana’s” theme song “How Far I’ll Go.”
The other golden buzzer recipients that were selected by Cowell, Klum, Mel B, Mandel and Tyra Banks are Michael Ketterer, Courtney Hadwin, Mykayla Phillips, Amanda Mena, and Zurcaroh. All of them will no longer perform in the Judge Cuts rounds and will go straight to the live show.
Meanwhile, the winner of “America’s Got Talent” Season 13 will bring home $1 million and will headline a show in Las Vegas.
